VMware, Inc. [PALO ALTO, CA] (NYSE: VMW) announced that Karen E. Dykstra has been elected to the VMware board of directors. She has served on the board of directors of Gartner, Inc. since 2007 and was Chief Financial Officer of AOL, Inc. from 2012 to 2015. Dykstra was previously a member of the AOL board of directors from 2009 to 2012. From 2006 to 2010, Dykstra was a Partner of Plainfield Asset Management LLC, and served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Plainfield Direct LLC, Plainfield’s business development company, and served as a director from 2007 to 2010. Earlier in her career, Dykstra spent over 25 years with Automatic Data Processing, Inc., serving most recently as Chief Financial Officer from 2003 to 2006.
Essence [NEW YORK] promoted Nick Byrd to Global Chief Financial Officer (CFO), having previously served as Global Financial Director. Prior to Essence, Byrd spent eight years at Razorfish, moving from Director of Finance, to North America Director of Client Finance, and finally Vice President of US Client Finance.
The Brock Group [HOUSTON] announced that Jon Grant has joined the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Jon comes to Brock from AECOM, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President of Global Business Services. Before AECOM, he served in various senior financial leadership roles at BAE Systems. Jon began his career with Deloitte & Touche.
Rural Sourcing Inc. [ATLANTA] announced that Jeff Stewart will retire from his role as Chief Financial Officer at the end of this quarter and be replaced by Tre Sasser. Prior to joining RSI, Sasser served as CFO for eMag Solutions, LLC. Previously, he served as CFO for Exaserv, Inc. Tre also spent eight years at Hewlett Packard.
GridGain Systems, [FOSTER CITY, CA] announced that Eoin O’Connor has been named Chief Financial Officer. He began his career at KPMG and moved onto roles at Zuora and Space-Time Insight.
EatStreet [MADISON, Wis.] announced Richard Santiago as the new CFO. Santiago joins EatStreet from Riot Games Inc. Richard also served as a CFO at Red 5 Studios and U4ia Games. Prior to that, he progressed through Activision, where he progressed from Manager of Finance to ultimately a Group Vice President of Finance.
Sound Pharmaceuticals [SEATTLE] announced the appointment of Paul Rickey as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Prior to this appointment, Paul served as Vice President of Finance and Administration of Immune Design Corp. Before joining Immune Design in 2009, Paul was Corporate Controller of Northstar Neuroscience. Prior to his role at Northstar Neuroscience, he was the accounting manager for Mobliss, Inc. Paul started his career at Ernst & Young LLP.
Shiseido Americas Corporation [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Ronald Gee as Chief Financial Officer, replacing Frank Toscano, who has been serving as Interim Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Gee comes to Shiseido from Coty, Inc., where he served as Chief Financial Officer of the Americas for three years. Prior to Coty, he worked at L’Oréal USA for almost ten years, most recently as Vice President of Finance for the International Designer Collections. He also served in various roles at Kraft Foods, Inc.
Dashlane [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of David Lapter as Chief Financial Officer. Lapter comes to Dashlane from MakeSpace. From 2011 to 2014, he served as Fab.com’s CFO. Prior to Fab.com, Lapter was CFO and EVP of business operations at KickApps. Earlier in his career, Lapter held positions at Upfront Ventures and The Parthenon Group.
Corizon Health [BRENTWOOD, Tenn.] announced that it has appointed Douglas Thompson as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Thompson joins Corizon Health from his most recent position as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Beacon Health Options. Prior to Beacon, Thompson was Chief Financial Officer of ValueOptions and previously served as Senior Vice President, Decision Support and Treasurer. Prior to ValueOptions, Thompson served in various financial capacities at HealthSpring, Inc.
Inspirational Vision Media Inc. [LAS VEGAS, NV] announced Eric Honour as Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer. As owner of The Honour Group, Eric’s worked in the Southern California construction industry on projects for various government agencies including the Department of Defense, the FAA, and city and county governments throughout Southern California. Private sector clients include General Atomics, and Boeing’s Human Spaceflight Division for the Space Shuttle’s maintenance facility and Delta rocket program.
Xenia Hotels & Resorts, Inc. [ORLANDO, Fla.] (NYSE: XHR) announced that Andrew Welch has stepped down from his positions as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. The Board has appointed Joseph Johnson, Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, as Principal Financial Officer and Treasurer. Johnson joined Xenia in May 2015. Previously, Mr. Johnson served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of CNL Healthcare Properties, Inc. and CNL Lifestyle Properties, Inc.
PAR Technology Corporation [NEW HARTFORD, N.Y.] (NYSE:PAR) announced the employment of Michael S. Bartusek, the Company’s Vice President and Chief Financial officer was terminated.
Metrodigi® [LARKSPUR, Calif.] announced Warren Geddes as Chief Financial Officer.
Alpha Natural Resources, Inc. [BRISTOL, Va.] (OTC: ANRZQ) announced that Andy Eidson, Senior Vice President for Strategy and Business Development, will assume additional duties as the CFO. Mr. Eidson has served in his current position since December 2015. He replaces Philip Cavatoni. Mr. Eidson previously served as Vice President, Mergers and Acquisitions at Alpha. Prior to joining the Company inJuly 2010, Mr. Eidson held several financial positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Eastman Chemical Company, and most recently Penn Virginia Resource Partners.
One Call Care Management [JACKSONVILLE, Fla] announced the appointment of Rick McCook as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. McCook most recently served as EVP and CFO for General Parts International, Inc. from 2010 through 2014. Prior to General Parts International, McCook held various positions including EVP & CFO at US Oncology, EVP & CFO at Raytech Corporation, and SVP & CFO of Winn-Dixie Stores. In addition, he has held various senior audit roles within KPMG.
TrueBlue, Inc. [TACOMA, Wash.] (NYSE: TBI) announced that Stephen Robb has been appointed to the company’s board of directors. Robb, was named executive vice president and CFO of The Clorox Company in 2014 after serving as SVP and CFO. Prior to being named CFO, Robb served as VP of Global Finance. He joined Clorox in 1989. Goings most recently served as executive vice president, TD Bank Group and president, TD Insurance.
Beasley Broadcast Group, Inc. [NAPLES, Florida] (NASDAQ: BBGI) announced that Caroline Beasley, Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer, will serve as Interim Chief Executive Officer during the CEOs. Caroline has served as the Company’s Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary since 1994 and as a Director since 1983.
Mars Inc. [McLean, Va.] announced that Claus Aagaard, the current CFO of Mars Petcare, has been named CFO for the corporation. Aagaard succeeds Reuben Gamoran. Aagaard has been with Mars for 15 years.
C&F Financial Corporation [WEST POINT, Va.] (NASDAQ: CFFI) announced that it has appointed Jason E. Long to the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of C&F Financial Corporation and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Citizens and Farmers Bank. Mr. Long joined the Bank as a First Vice President in October 2014. He succeeds Thomas F. Cherry as Chief Financial Officer, who was named President of the Corporation and the Bank. Prior to joining the Bank in October 2014, Mr. Long had worked at Yount, Hyde, Barbour, P.C. for 12 years.
Codorus Valley Bancorp, Inc. [York, Pennsylvania] announced the resignation of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Michael A. Peduzzi.
Gladstone Capital Corporation [McLean, Virginia] appointed Nicole Schaltenbrand, the Company’s current Chief Accounting Officer, as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Ms. Schaltenbrand, has served as Chief Accounting Officer of the Company since November 2015. From May 2012 to November 2015, Ms. Schaltenbrand served as a senior manager of SEC reporting and accounting policy at National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation. From September 2004 through May 2012, Ms. Schaltenbrand worked in the assurance practice at KPMG LLP where she attained the level of senior audit manager.
EQT Corporation [PITTSBURGH] (NYSE: EQT) announced the appointment of Robert J. McNally as senior vice president and chief financial officer. McNally is also appointed to this same role for EQT Midstream Partners, LP (NYSE: EQM) and EQT GP Holdings, LP (NYSE: EQGP) and will join their respective boards of directors. He replaces Philip P. Conti, who has been with EQT since 1996. McNally was most recently executive vice president and chief financial officer of Precision Drilling Corporation. Before that he worked at Kenda Capital LLC; and Warrior Energy Services Corp. as well as investment banking with Simmons & Company International. McNally began his career with Schlumberger.
Matrix Medical Network® [SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.] announced that Mark Schonau will be joining the company as chief financial officer. Most recently, Mark served as CFO at AFS Technologies Inc. Previous to AFS Technologies, Mr. Schonau held the position of CFO at several organizations. Matrix Medical Network is part of The Providence Service Corporation.
